Researchers’ Project of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in the Department of Water Engineering, place among the elected projects in Italy ( Archive )
The proposed research project "Monitoring of Soil Moisture in arid and Semi-arid Climates” of the Faculty of Agriculture of the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad won the “Pietro Dalla Valle- CRUI" award 2017.
The research project “Monitoring of Soil Moisture in arid and Semi-arid Climates” was proposed by a research team composed of Dr. Alireza Farid Hosseini and Dr. Hossein Ansari (Faculty Members, Department of Water Science and Water Engineering, Faculty of Agriculture, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad); Dr. Farid Faridani(Postdoctoral researcher of this group); and Dr. Salvatore Manfreda from the University of Basilicata in Italy (UNIVERSITA 'DEGLI STUDI DELLA BASILICATA - DICEM) received a € 10,000 grant as the selected project of Pietro Dalla Valle, CRUI in 2017.
The program is set up by the Italian and Iranian Ministries of Science and Technology, with the goal of creating a collaborative space between their universities in the fields of basic sciences, humanities, engineering, information technology and art. It is clear that scientific and international exchanges and the creation of the areas for sustainable and long-term cooperation in science and technology among countries will accelerate the development of knowledge, creativity, and innovation, and eventually, increase the social well-being, peace, and friendship among the states and communities.
