Ferdowsi University of Mashhad

With the increase in environmental challenges facing societies, people from all walks of life and all levels of responsibility have begun paying more attention to issue that affects their lives. As such, in a joint effort with the Iranian Ministry of Science, research, and Technology, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad is hosting the First International Conference on Green University on 6th and 7th of February, 2018.

Iranian universities have always been at the forefront of putting scientific finding into practice and have long served as models for the Iranian society. The current conference, first international conference of its kind, offers an opportunity for universities to showcase their achievements in green management and exchange ideas and best practices on sustainable campuses. The conference hopes to spark change in universities as well as the Iranian society at large.

The First International Conference on Green University will feature workshops and panels by renowned Iranian experts as well as professors and administrators from universities in other countries; to share their achievements, innovations, and challenges with other influencers and decision-makers.

By staging a green techno-market and startup, the conference strives to bridge the gap between the academia and industry and to empower both academics and experts in related industries.
