World Peace Ambassador at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad ( Archive )






Dr. Mohsen Karimi Tabasi, the World Peace Ambassador 2018 visited the office of Pro. Mohammad Kafi, President of FUM, on April 7, 2018, and discussed enhancement of cultural and social cooperation, which led to the signing of an MOU between president of FUM and the World Peace Ambassador 2018. 

During the visit, Prof. Kafi considered the appointment of an Iranian as the world peace ambassador of 2018 an honor for Iran and announced the readiness of FUM for providing the necessary facilities of FUM for the promotion of peace in the Middle East and the world.

President of FUM pointed out the capabilities and capacities of the world peace ambassador with his being the honorary consulate of Lithuania in Iran as the most significant one; he requested that Dr. Karimi provide the possibility of more relationships between FUM and recognized European universities. Prof. Kafi announced that FUM is prepared to provide the World Peace Ambassador an office at FUM, so that continued relationships are established between the two parties. 

Dr. Mohsen Karimi Tabasi described FUM as a distinguished university with great capacities, especially concerning human resource, and emphasized on his readiness for promotion of cooperation between FUM and recognized European universities in Lithuania and Europe and announced his readiness for appointment of his economic representatives at various cities of the world, such as the London office given to him the European Union to this purpose.

During the visit and with the presence of Dr. Ehsan Ghabool, Head of International Academic Relations Department and Dr. Masoudifar, Legal Deputy of Lithuanian Consulate in Iran, an MOU was signed by Prof. Kafi and Dr. Karimi Tabasi, which had a great emphasis on promotion of cultural, social, scientific and economic collaborations, especially promotion of world peace.
