In a conference in Kabul, the President of Afghanistan appreciated the book of Iran's literary history and Persian language dominance, written by Professor Seyed Mahdi Zarghani, a faculty member of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. He considered the book as a model of the literary history writing in the Persian language and noted the book as the basis of the literary history writing in the Persian language.
The book of Iran's literary history and Persian language dominance written by Professor Seyed Mahdi Zarghani was published in the year 2009. This book won the Jalal Al-e Ahmad Literary Award of 2009, Iran's most lucrative literary prize, and also won the Best Book Award of the season in the same year and was one of the winners of the Farabi International Award of 2009.
