Ferdowsi University of Mashhad

Dr. Taqi al Abduwani and Mr. Qassim al Lawati, two Directors from the Oman NanoCity Center, had a meeting with Professor  Mohammad Kafi, President of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (FUM).

Prof. Kafi referred to the last year signed memorandum of understanding between FUM and the Nanocity Center, and expressed satisfaction with the implementation of this memorandum of understanding in various areas of education and research. He called for the continuation of the cooperation between the two sides. Dr. Taqi al Abduwani also mentioned that the selection of FUM by the NanoCity is due to its prominent international status and he expressed hope that relations between the two sides would expand rapidly.

The President and Vice President of the Oman Nanocity Center then had a meeting with Prof. Reza Pishghadam, Vice President for Academic Affairs of FUM, Prof. Bahrami, Vice President for Research and Technology of FUM, and Dr. Ehsan Ghabool, Head of International Academic Relations Department.

At the end of the meeting, a joint curriculum was approved for the enrollment of Omani students in nanosciences at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad.
