Ferdowsi University of Mashhad

The virtual celebration of “Stars of Ferdowsi in 2020” was held for the appreciation of the distinguished students of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad on Thursday, April 30, 2020.

In this celebration, which was held as a webinar, Prof. Madjid Mirzavaziri, Professor of the Faculty of Mathematics, was the host of the program. The first speaker in this event was Prof. Reza Lotfi, Professor of the Faculty of Engineering and President of the National Elite Foundation of Khorasan Razavi Province. His lecture entitled “Thought of Growth, Influencive and Achievable”. The second speaker was Dr. Mehdi Feizi, Assistant Professor of the Faculty of Administrative and Economic Sciences with the lecture titled “In praise of being at the Middle”. The third speaker was Prof. Shahram Abbassi, Professor of the Faculty of Sciences with the lecture entitled “Intuitive Recognition of Talents”.

In the following two interviews with FUM's top alumnus, Dr. Mohsen Amini (Assistant Professor of Computer Engineering, University of Louisiana, USA) and Pouya Vahidi (Ph.D. student in Mathematics at California Institute of Technology (Caltech), USA) were presented.

At the end of the ceremony, the appreciation certificate by Prof. Reza Pishgadam, Vice President for Academic Affairs of FUM, was read by Prof. Mirzavaziri for the virtual audience.
