Ferdowsi University of Mashhad

In the latest results of the Times Higher Education World University Rankings, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (FUM) has been ranked among the top universities in the world in 6 subject areas.

According to the Vice-Chancellor for Planning and Resource Development, the position of FUM indicates that this university is ranked (501-600) in the field of engineering and technology, business and economics, computer science, life sciences, and physical sciences (601-800) and social sciences with a rank (+600).

It is worth mentioning that FUM is one of the few universities in Iran that has been ranked among the top universities in the world in two subject areas of "Business and Economics" and "Social Sciences".

The Times Higher Education World University Rankings evaluates and ranks universities in 11 subject areas based on 13 performance indicators. These topics include computer science, engineering and technology, medicine, paramedical and health, life sciences, physical sciences, psychology, arts and humanities, education, law, social sciences, and economics and business.
