New Species of Crustaceans is Discovered in the Persian Gulf by Researchers at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad

Achievement of a Ph.D. Thesis by Dr. Fatemeh Nazari, under the supervision of Dr. Omid Mirshamsi, associated professor of the Department of Biology of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, is a discovery of a new species of crustaceans in the Persian Gulf.


The new species is named Pseudoneotachidius sinuspersici gen. et sp. nov. The work is published in the Marine Biodiversity journal.
