In the competition of the Energy Globe World Award (Regional Office of Iran) in 2022 among 311 projects in 7 sections, the project of Dr. Hamed Kamelnia Associate Professor of Architecture, Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in the field of sustainable buildings is selected as a candidate for the best project.
The Energy Globe Ceremony in Iran was held on May 15, 2022, in the presence of the President of the Foundation, Wolfgang Neumann, and the EU Climate Ambassador, as well as some professors, researchers, and staff of the Foundation in the Persian Gulf Conference Hall.
In the section related to sustainable construction, Dr. Hamed Kamelnia's project is praised and received a certificate and foreign exchange award (SGCF) and was registered in the database of the World Energy Organization.
It should be noted that since 2000, the World Energy Foundation has been holding an award called the Energy Globe Award annually to evaluate projects and identify the best practices in the field of sustainability and the environment. A global event dedicated to learning and guiding the credits and funds of international organizations.
