Ferdowsi University of Mashhad Hosts an Academic Lecture by Faculty Members from Scotland’s Sterling University and Masaryk University, Czech Republic

Following the invitation by the Political Sciences Academic Group at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Dr. Bashir Saade, a notable faculty member at the University of Stirling, and Dr. Joseph Cross, Political Science professor at Masaryk University, Czech Republic, presented their lecture on ‘Political Islam and the Evolution of Political Thoughts in Shi’i’ at the Faculty of Administrative and Economic Sciences on October 24th, 2017. 
Based on the report of the Public Relations Office of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, the main focus of this academic session was political Islam. A large number of faculty members, PhD candidates, MA as well as BA students attended this academic session.
First, Dr. Bashir Saade provided detailed explanations about Al-Farabi’s philosophy and its links to political Islam. Then, Dr. Joseph Cross opened up the different dimensions of Islamophobia in Czech Republic.
