The first International Competition for Inventors and Innovators for INV members was held online from July 18 to 20, 2021. In this competition, Dr. Babak Azimi Thanavi, a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Sports Management, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, won second place and the silver medal of this competition.
The World Federation of Inventors is one of the leading organizations in the field of invention and innovation in the world. One of the main goals of the Federation is to create a platform and appreciate the community of inventors and innovators. On this basis, the federation, after receiving the necessary approvals, has made special arrangements for inventors around the world to join the INV sector.
During the competition, 650 inventions from 35 countries registered for the event. Countries such as the United States, Canada, Australia, Morocco, Iran, Qatar, Bahrain, the United Kingdom, Lebanon, Poland, China, etc. were present in this field.
According to the rules of the festival, the selected inventors completed the registration form and sent a short and practical film of their innovation and invention, and then the members of the jury of the federation evaluated and reviewed the submitted designs within 3 days.
The criteria of the jury members were to consider various and important aspects of each invention and innovation, such as examining the level of public demand, economic and cost-effectiveness, being environmentally friendly, and so on.
It should also be noted that all inventions and innovations are categorized into 15 different classes, including computer science, machinery, civil engineering, environmental protection, agriculture.
