The graduation ceremony of the male international graduates of the country's universities was held in the presence of Dr. Dadashpour, Deputy Minister and Head of the Student Affairs Organization, Dr. Ghafari, the University's Cultural, Social, and Student Deputy, Mr. Abdul Karim Jassim Karim, the Consul General of the Iraqi Embassy, on Sunday, July 17, 2022, at Ferdowsi University Mashhad (FUM).

Dr. Hashem Dadashpour, Deputy Minister of Science and Head of the Student Affairs Organization, while congratulating the graduates, said: This synergy among different nations is a very good opportunity and through it, Islam should be given the highest place it should have and deserves. Each of you is not just a student or a researcher, but you must find your role in the development of the Islamic world. And he added: All of us should think about this and try to improve the status of the Islamic world.

The Deputy Minister of Science, Research and Technology regarding the scientific field after the Islamic Revolution in Iran stated: We targeted several scientific fields during the Islamic Revolution. The first is the software movement and the production of science, and the second is the scientific authority in the world. As some of our universities are ranked in high scientific ranks in the world. The head of the student affairs organization added: The number of universities that existed in Iran before the revolution was 15, which indicates that the university was only for a small range of society. The Islamic revolution that was born marked the first movement of science production and designed the infrastructure that has advanced our scientific society.

Dr. Hashem Dadashpour continued: Today, we have 2,640 technical to virtual universities that play a big role in the production of science. The number of our students 43 years ago was only 150,000 people, and today it has reached 3,200,000 people, and he added: Today, 16.2% of world science production is in Iran, and in 2021, Iran was among the first 15 countries in the world in science production. In the field of growth in the quantity of scientific production in 2020, Iran has had the second and highest scientific growth in the world.

The head of the student affairs organization stated: These indicators show that the process that started at the beginning of the revolution is still moving rapidly. Science production in Iran ranks first in the Islamic world. Now, 22% of the total production of science among Islamic countries belongs to Iran. Also, if we index highly cited articles, Iran's rank is 13. These show that the process of science production in Iran is growing well and Iran has moved from competing with less developed countries forty years ago to competing with developed countries. He admitted: We must try to make the 21st century the century of the revival of science in the Islamic world. Our duty is to try to move towards greater integration and cooperation between Islamic countries and to increase our scientific cooperation.

We should use the teachings of these poets in the direction of our solidarity as much as possible.

He continued: In the past, there was a link between Islamic societies and it is hoped that it will continue. Regarding the glorious occasion of Ghadir, Dr. Ghafari said: We should be happy that we are living in the time of the fulfillment of religion and the end of blessings. God has blessed us with Islam, which was completed with the last part of the Walayah. The Vice President of FUM for Social and Cultural Affairs stated: Strong people are people who change habits and we are responsible for changing this world we have become accustomed to. This is possible when we have as much thirst for Imam Zaman (AS).

In the continuation of this ceremony, Abdul Karim Jassim Karim, the Consul General of Iraq, said in the gathering of international students at FUM: As God said in the Quran, different nations and their differences are not the reason for superiority and we are all brothers. He continued: Iran has a rich culture and literature. Your Saadi and Hafez are great treasures of literature. The Iranian Islamic revolution and your standing despite those existed hardships and conditions are valuable. The relations of people today are the relations of the new century and are very important and valuable.

Jassim Karim further added: You students of different countries are the ambassadors of your countries. I appreciate all the great professors of the Islamic Republic of Iran. There are good and rich educations in Iran that bring students from other countries here. The Consul General of Iraq said: Finally, I appreciate the graduating students and wish them to be influential in the affairs of their countries, and we welcome Iranian professors in Iraq.

Hujjat al-Islam Ahmadzadeh, Vice President of supreme leader representative at Khorasan Universities, while congratulating the glorious occasion of Ghadir, appreciated the presence of students from different nations and considered it in line with Ghadir's message of achieving global peace and friendship. Hujjat al-Islam Ahmadzadeh further said: Each of you is the flag and symbol of your nations. The message of the completion of religion, which is mentioned in the holy Quran and is tied to the glorious occasion of Ghadir, is not exclusive to the same time of revelation and is a universal message for humanity at all times.

Regarding the use of Ghadir today, he told us: that the discussion of the completion of religion and the introduction of religion for us conveys the message of peace, truth, honesty, and friendship for all nations. We must note that this is addressed to all nations. The message of the completion of the religion is that peace, friendship, and tranquility will not happen until Imam Zaman (AS) appears. Hujjat al-Islam Ahmadzadeh pointed out that: Quran alone does not bring us peace and we need a speaking Quran. Our peace will be determined by the appearance of our absent ruler. We are the ambassadors who must spread Ghadir's message of peace and friendship to the world through dialogue and reasoning.

Giving certificates of appreciation to the representatives of the graduates, reciting the oath of graduation, cutting the cake by the representatives of the graduates, and performing Persian traditional music were among the other programs. In this ceremony, several students symbolically received graduation gifts from the head of the student affairs organization, and while receiving, they expressed their feelings and praised Iran as their second home for its hospitality and cultural human behavior.
