The Environment Committee at the Office of Socio-Cultural and Student Affairs ( Archive )







The Environment Committee at the Office of Socio-Cultural and Student Affairs was established in 2017 to centralized voluntary activities across campus. The committee has attracted students from different faculties and organized students into the following four task forces: Education and Ceremonies, Waste and Consumption Habit, Transportation, Landscape.


Currently, the committee has set its sights on educating staff and students about native plant species with decorative uses and promoting awareness about the threat goldfish pose to ecosystems.


For its future activities, the committee will focus waste management and waste reduction, with an emphasis on cutting the use of disposable plastic shopping bags on campus.
