Ferdowsi University of Mashhad Ranked 470 among the World's Universities in the Latest Leiden Ranking 2019 ( Archive )
According to the CWTS Leiden Ranking 2019, 26 Iranian universities ranked among 963 top universities of the world, where Ferdowsi University of Mashhad ranked first in the scientific impact among the comprehensive university of the county.
The University of Tehran and Tarbiat Modares University have ranked first among universities in the capital, and Ferdowsi University of Mashhad ranked first among the comprehensive universities of the county in the field of scientific cooperation and open access to publications.
Ferdowsi University of Mashhad has also earned a world-class position in mathematics and computer science (ranked 176th), physics and engineering sciences (ranked 246th), and life sciences and geosciences (ranked 292th).
