Application Instructions for Non-Iranian Postdoctoral Student and Short-term Study Programs ( Archive )






The application instruction for non-Iranian postdoctoral student and short-term study programs approved in the 40th International Affairs Policy Council meeting. The provisions of the instruction are as follows:


In order to establish admission procedures for non-Iranian applicants in postdoctoral and short-term study programs, this instruction is provided in two sections (A) and (B).


(A) International Postdoctoral Program:


The application of non-Iranian Postdoctoral Program will be received by the International Students' Office and send to the Vice President for Research and Technology of the University. Subsequently, the vice-president refers the application to the faculty for the decision, faculty moderator assignments, and the proposal preparation. The review results of the department and the faculty, together with the proposal will be forwarded for decision making to the Vice President for Research and Technology of the university. Finally, the result will be communicated to the International Students' Office.


Student admission is subjected to a valid recommendation by the organization, university, or sponsoring institution, and a necessary financial guarantee is required.


The cost of the program is deposited to the International Student Department and it is considered as the foreign exchange gains of the Vice President for Research and Technology of
the university.


The cost of the program is € 5,000 for each year, which is paid by the sponsor institution.
Of this amount, €4,000 in 4 installments (each installment of €1,000) is payed to a postdoctoral researcher. The rest is allocated according to the following table.

The cost of the program and the share of each unit will be paid in Iranian Rial by the Vice President for Research and Technology of the university.


(B) Short-term Study Programs:


The application of non-Iranian for short periods of research will be received by the International Students' Office and send to the faculty for the decision and faculty advisor assignments.The cost of non-Iranian applicants for this research opportunity is as follows: Tuition fee is € 150.


The Bench fee including the cost of laboratory services and offices is between 150-600 Euros
per month which is defined by the Vice President for Research and Technology of the university. The 100 percent of the research cost is available to the faculty advisor.



The cost of the program and the share of each unit will be paid in Iranian Rial by the Vice President for Research and Technology of the university according to the following table:
