Presence of FUM among the world's top universities ( Archive )
In the results of a study conducted by National Taiwan University, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (FUM) has been among the world's top universities for the first time.
Since 2007, the National Taiwan University has ranked the world's universities according to the number of articles published in journals and the number of citations of articles; it has ranked them through 8 indicators in three fields of research productivity, impact of research and research excellence to introduce the top 800 universities in the world. In addition to the overall ranking, it ranks the universities in six fields and 14 subjects, where Ferdowsi University of Mashhad has been among the top universities in the world for the first time according to the results.
Also, based on the results of the 2018 ranking of this system, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad has gained the global rank of 258 in the field of agricultural sciences, and 83rd in the field of mechanical engineering in its first appearance. It is worth noting that the rank of FUM in the field of agricultural sciences has improved from the ranking of 351-400 to 258, according to the evaluation results of this system in 2017.
