Vice President for Academic Affairs
The office of Vice President for Academic Affairs was established at the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in 1973 with the aim of helping the students get educated in their fields of study. This office is responsible for organizing, coordinating and monitoring the performance of the University schools and departments. In addition, the Vice-President for Education is responsible for the following duties:
- To evaluate and monitor the academic performance of faculty members and academic administrators
- To design and implement programs for the promotion of faculty members
- To revise and modify the curriculum
- To plan for the development of different academic programs and new fields of study
- To identify, cluster and support talented students
- To design academic courses, produce content, and implement electronic instruction programs
- To establish and manage the Free and Virtual Training Center
