Mr. Kamani, Deputy Minister of Energy and Head of the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Organization (SATBA), visited the Sun-Air Research Institute (SARI) of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (FUM). During this visit, Dr. Enferadi, the director of the research institute, while welcoming the guests, introduced the specialized fields of the research institute (including wind energy, solar energy, automation and robotics, energy storage, and electric vehicle). Also, a brief presentation of the latest scientific achievements of the research institute and its products was made. The meeting was attended by Engineer Vafaei, representative of the Energy Resources Development Organization of the Ministry of Defense, Dr. Zabett, president of FUM, and Prof. Rajabi Mashhadi, Advisor to the President and a member of the faculty of Electrical Engineering of FUM.

Dr. Zabett, president of FUM and former director of SARI, emphasized the knowledge of wind energy design in the SARI and illustrated the ability to create more than 85% value-added, considering the installation process of wind turbines. The Medium Scale mentioned this ability as the unique advantage of this collection in the country.

Also, Mr. Vafaei, the representative of the Energy Resources Development Organization, asked for SATBA's support regarding the use of the potential capacity of this complex and called for the creative role of the SARI in the field of renewable energy.

Prof. Rajabi Mashhadi, after introducing FUM as the third most important university in the country and also the Department of Electrical Engineering of this university as a leader and developer of macro thinking in the country's electricity industry, expresses the support of the key policymakers as a need for the country.

In the end, Mr. Kamani, while appreciating the capabilities of the SARI, mentioned the beginning of the development of ten thousand megawatts of renewable power plants in SATBA and considered supporting its development as a serious matter for this organization. He further said that in the equipment purchase section, SATBA has entered the field of creating 4,000 MW of solar energy value chain. By focusing on the unique features of the center's renewable product portfolio, and creating a suitable financial mechanism and business model for the commercialization of the product portfolio of the SARI, local products can be developed.
