Ferdowsi University of Mashhad

Literature at Damascus University with the Cooperation of FUM 4th International Conference on Persian and Arabic Comparative Literature was held at Damascus University with the Cooperation of FUM, Damascus University and Iranian Cultural Attaché in Syria in April of 2018. Dr. Ehsan Ghabool, Head of International Academic Relations Department and the Secretary of the Conference and Dr. Abdollah Radmard, Dean of the Faculty of Letters and Humanities participated at this conference. During the opening ceremony, Dr. Ghabool mentioned the background of the conference, which was held upon his suggestion at Lebanese University in 2011; the second and third conferences were held at FUM in 2013 and 2015. He pointed out the improved level of the conference from the aspects of cooperation, scientific contribution, and organization of conference. He introduced the University of Kufa as the next host of the conference in 2018.
