The First Low Input Farming Urban Park in the Country was Put into Operation with the Idea, Design, and Supervision of a Faculty Member of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad ( Archive )






The public and the thematic park is put into operation based on low input farming system for the first time in the country by designing and supervising of Dr. Fatemeh Kazemi, a faculty member of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (FUM).


This park is designed intending to develop a sustainable and environmentally friendly concept for Iran's green space and with sustainable green space design approaches including dry landscaping, optimal use of water resources, reducing maintenance, and the use of less pesticides and chemical fertilizers.


This project is designed in the form of scientific and executive cooperation between FUM and the Parks and Green Space Organization of Mashhad on a land area of approximately one hectare at Elahieh area of Mashhad.
