Ferdowsi University of Mashhad

The closing ceremony of the first cultural-pilgrimage festival of international students across the country is held at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad On Thursday, March 31, 2022. In this ceremony, Dr. Ahad Zabett, the president of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (FUM), said that the main host of the festival is Imam Reza (AS) and we are proud to serve the pilgrims of that Imam. After expressing his satisfaction with the presence of international students from universities across the country at FUM, he thanked his colleagues at this university for their efforts in holding this festival.

Dr. Zeinab Moazenzadeh, the secretary of the festival, presented a report regarding the ceremony. she said that the purpose of this festival is to create a spiritual atmosphere next to the royal court of Imam Reza (AS) as well as to create an atmosphere in which students can feel more friendship and closeness and avoid differences. Dr. Moazenzadeh mentioned the holding of workshops and sports and cultural competitions during the festival, visits to historical and tourist sites in Mashhad, and cordial meetings of officials of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology with students as the programs of this festival. Addressing the students, she emphasized that students can reach the peak with two wings of commitment and expertise, and we all care for students’ comfort and happiness. We tried to convey the message of peace and friendship to students all over the world. She continued his speech by thanking the colleagues involved in the holding of this festival.

Dr. Shamsipoor, Director General of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, also thanked the organizers of the event and spoke about the confrontation between the Right and False Fronts. He also made remarks about the confrontation between the two fronts of Islam, which is pure Islam and presented by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and American Islam. He stressed that the progress of the Islamic Republic of Iran is on the path of pure Islam.

Also in this program, Dr. Dadashpour, Deputy Minister and Head of the Students' Organization, and Dr. Razeghi, Director General of Non-Iranian Students of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, appreciated the efforts of the organizers of this event at FUM.

Following this ceremony, Dr. Moslehzadeh, advisor to the head of the Student Organization of the Ministry of Education, also held a training workshop for students.

At the end of the ceremony, the winners of the competitions held at the festival were honored.
