Conquering the Mera peak of the Himalayas by a Faculty Member of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad ( Archive )
Dr. Saeed Ostad Movahed, Associate Professor, Department of Polymer Engineering, Faculty of Science, succeeded in climbing the Mera peak of the Himalayas in Nepal On April 3, 2022.
He has climbed a distance of 145 km back and forth. Mera peak with winter weather conditions in this season is classified as 7,000 Himalayan peaks.
It is worth mentioning that Dr. Ostad Movahed has climbed the Okanagan, the roof of South America - Argentina, the Island peak in the Himalayas - Nepal, Kilimanjaro, the roof of Africa, and Elbrus, the roof of Europe.
