The closing ceremony of the International Cultural-Pilgrimage Festival of international universities across the country in the girls’ section was held at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (FUM) on Monday, April 29, 1401. At the closing ceremony, Dr. Zeinab Moazenzadeh, the secretary of the festival, while appreciating the organizers of the festival, addressed the students. "The university gives us a goal so that we can strive for what we want and not get tired of achieving it," he said. The university is not just a place to study, but all the great human developments and achievements, including peace and security, are in the hands of the students. Dr. Moazenzadeh emphasized that we should always strive to achieve the unity of all human beings of all ethnicities and nationalities.
Regarding the holding of this festival, she mentioned programs such as visiting places, cultural, historical, and tourism of Mashhad, educational workshops as well as sports competitions in addition to the pilgrimage programs of the royal court of Imam Reza (AS).
At the end of the closing ceremony, Dr. Seyed Hossein Seyed Mousavi, Director of the President's Office and Public relation department of FUM, while welcoming the guests and students, praised the performance of the organizing committee of this festival. By reciting poems by Saadi, he advised students to appreciate the moments of being together.
After that, during the meeting, the officials of the Student Organization and the General Directorate of Non-Iranian Students of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology answered the questions and issues of the international students and talked. The meeting was attended by Dr. Jafar Razeghi, Director General of Non-Iranian Students, Dr. Mostafa Moslehzadeh, Advisor to the President, and Dr. Amir Farokhi, Deputy Director of Non-Iranian Students, and Dr. Mohammad Hossein Ghaed Sharaf, Advisor to the President and Director-General of the Office of Public Relations.
At the end of the closing ceremony, the winners of the competitions held during the festival were honored.
