The vertical farming to control the energy consumption of the building was unveiled in the presence of Prof. Bahrami, Vice Chancellor for Research and Technology, Prof. Valizadeh, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, and Prof. Zerehdaran, Vice Chancellor for Research and Technology of the Faculty of Agriculture on Tuesday, April 12, 2022.

The implementation of this project is in line with the completed research project of Dr. Mohammad Mehdi Naserian, postdoctoral researcher of Dr. Rasoul khodabakhshian, a member of the faculty of the Department of Mechanical Biosystems Engineering, Faculty of Agriculture.

Dr. khodabakhshian, the director of this project, said: "We have achieved the technology of making this system as one of the required systems in vertical farming, with the support of government organizations and the private sector in the field of agriculture, the possibility of mass production of this system in the country is possible. He also mentioned the cooperation of Dr. Fatemeh Kazemi, a faculty member of the Department of Horticulture and Green Space Engineering, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, and Dr. Mansoureh Jozaei, a Ph.D. student at the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources in Gorgan.
