Professor Membership of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in TWAS Academy of World Sciences

Dr. Mohammad Sal Moslehian, Professor of the Pure Mathematical Sciences Department of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, President of the Iranian Mathematical Association, and a member of the Mathematics Branch of the Iran Academy of Sciences, due to his outstanding research records and effective and brilliant activities in the advancement of mathematics, was selected as a permanent member of the World Academy of Sciences (TWAS).


Scientific prominence, influence in the country's science process, and the individual's position in the world sciences are the main criteria for selecting members of the Academy of World Sciences. It should be noted that Dr. Yousef Tasboti was the first Iranian to become a member of this academy in 1987, and so far only 19 people from Iran have been elected to become members of the World Sciences Academy, of which 4 are medical sciences, 1 are engineering sciences, and 2 are agricultural sciences. There are 5 people in chemical sciences, 2 people in biological sciences, 1 person in mathematical sciences, and 4 people in physical sciences.


Management of graduate education at the university, research management of the university, and head of the center of excellence on algebraic structures analysis are among the executive records of Dr. Moslehian. He was also a senior researcher at the International Center for Theoretical Physics in Italy, the winner of the Allameh Tabatabai Award, the Ferdowsi University Foundation Award, the Razavi Scientific Award, and the country's top researcher in basic sciences.
