The Ferdowsi Mashhad residential complex project, which was designed by the professors of the Faculty of Architecture of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, was among the selected projects and is in the final stage of the World Architecture Award (one of the most prestigious architectural awards in the world) in 2023.

This project, which is a residential complex of 800 units in the city of Mashhad, is designed with the principles and criteria of a low-carbon residential site.

The main designer of the project was Dr. Alireza Taghabani (another consultant - Nextoffice), an honorary member of the Faculty of Architecture and Design, and Dr. Hamed Kamelnia, a member of the faculty of the Department of Architecture, in the form of an extra-university project.

This project is being built with the participation of Northeast Housing Investment Company (Totonchi Engineer) and Astan Quds Razavi on a 5-hectare land.

It should be noted that the final ceremony of the World Architecture Award for selecting the best designs will be held on November 29 to December 1, 2023, in Singapore.
