A joint meeting was held to review the progress of major oil contracts between Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (FUM) and the National Iranian Oil Company, with the presence of Dr. Zabett, the president of FUM, and Engineer Mehdi Fakour, the director of exploration, along with Dr. Mojtabi Sediq Arabani, the head of the Research and Technology Department of Exploration Management of the National Iranian Oil Company. The meeting was held on Thursday, November 30, 1402.

In this meeting, Dr. Mehdi Panahi, the director of relations with industry and society of the university, Dr. Amin Shahidi, the head of the oil and gas research institute of the university, the executors of the large-scale projects "Development of technologies to improve subsurface imaging in the exploration of hydrocarbon resources in the Kopeh Dagh sedimentary basin", and "Quantitative seismic interpretation" in the south of Dasht Abadan", and a group of members of the steering council of large oil projects of FUM were present. After the presenters presented the latest progress of the projects, the exploration management of the National Iranian Oil Company expressed satisfaction with the progress of the projects and the importance of their success. They emphasized the necessity of developing cooperation as much as possible.

Also, the directors of the National Iranian Oil Company visited the Central Laboratory and Oil and Gas Research Institute of FUM and praised its successful performance.
