The Meeting of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad Board of Directors with the Higher Education Delegation from Pakistan

The meeting of the Board of Governors of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (FUM) with the Higher Education Board of Pakistan was held on Saturday, January 20, 2024.


In this meeting, along with the signing of memorandums of cooperation with the presidents of Quaid-i-Azam University, Allama Iqbal Open University, University of the Punjab, Taleem-O-Tarbiat, the University of Lahore, the following topics were discussed:



  • Using the advantage of the two countries' neighborhood and ancient cultural affinity to develop scientific and technological cooperation.

  • Bilateral cooperation in the fields of technology with the participation of the science and technology park of the province and the university in the fields of industry and mining.

  • The necessity of developing cooperation regarding Persian language and literature.

  • Iran-Pakistan Science Week hosted by Ferdowsi University of Mashhad.


It is worth mentioning that the higher education delegation of Pakistan also visited the research and technology centers of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad.
