Indonesian Ambassador to Iran visited Ferdowsi University of Mashhad ( Archive )
Indonesian Ambassador to Iran, Octavino Alimudin, visited the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad to have a meeting with professor Mohammad Kafi, president of the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, regarding the promotion of scientific cooperation between the two countries.
The president of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, during the meeting on 28 February 2019, while, praised the growth of science and technology in Indonesia, introduced the capacities of the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in different fields of education, research and technology and considered Ferdowsi University of Mashhad among the top universities in international cooperation.
Indonesian Ambassador to Iran, Octavino Alimudin, declared the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad as a top international university in Iran. He praised the progress of this university and said his presence at the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad is the reason for Indonesia's efforts to expand cooperation with this university. He added: " We are ready to cooperate in the fields of agriculture, nanotechnology, sciences, and education of Persian language." He also added that the necessary arrangements for signing a cooperation agreement between the top Indonesian universities and the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad are in progress.
It was set up to prepare a booth for introducing Indonesia at the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and the Indonesian embassy also will inform posters, brochures and announcements belonging to Ferdowsi University of Mashhad to the Indonesian universities.
