The Online Workshop on Special Topics in Galactic Dynamics was Held with the Participation of 50 Researchers from Iran, Germany, and Italy ( Archive )
The online workshop "Special Issues in Galactic Dynamics" was held on Thursday, June 11, 2020, with the participation of 50 participants from Iran, Germany, and Italy, hosted by the Physics Department of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad.
The keynote speakers at the workshop were Prof. Jerry Sellwood (Arizona University - USA), Prof. Victor Debattista (University of Central Lancashire - England), Prof. Juntai Shen (Giao Tong University - China), and Dr. Jesus Falcon Barroso (Astronomical Institute of Canary Islands - Spain).
The gradual evolution of spiral arms within flat galaxies, N-particle simulation as a tool for studying galaxies, the cinematic features of flat galaxies, and the evolution of these galaxies under the influence of generalized gravitational theories were among the topics covered in this workshop.
