Signing a Cooperation Agreement between Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and the National Oil Company ( Archive )
Prof. Mohammad Kafi, President of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (FUM), attended the signing ceremony of 13 research contracts to increase the recovery factor of oil fields with selected universities in Tehran, on Monday, September 21, 2020. Mr. Zanganeh, Minister of Petroleum also attended this ceremony. The cooperation agreement was signed by Mr. Karbasian, CEO of Iran Oil Company.
According to this contract, research and technology studies were assigned to FUM for technological development to optimize production processes and increase the oil extraction coefficient from the Binak oil field. According to Dr. Babak Amin Shahidi, Head of the Oil and Gas Research Institute of FUM, the university will work with the National Iranian Oil Company as a technological consultant to the National Company for the South Oilfields.
