The Ferdowsi University of Mashhad self-driving car team won the top medal in the robotics field at the 2024 Technology Olympics by winning first place in the self-driving car category.

The 2024 Technology Olympics, which began on November 1 in the Iran International Innovation Zone, concluded on November 29 with the introduction of the best in the important fields of artificial intelligence, programming, cybersecurity, robotics, combat robots, and drones. The event, which was held with the aim of strengthening Iran’s scientific and technological position, focuses on national priority areas and is considered a milestone in strengthening the country’s innovation ecosystem.
