The ceremony to honor the faculty members of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, who were among the top 1% of the world's most cited scientists in 2023, was held on Sunday, November 3. Prof. Mirzaei, president of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, expressed his gratitude to all the selected individuals who, despite all the difficulties, are working to bring honor to Iran and said: "There are many problems in the country, and the faculty members, who are among the elites of society, must work to find solutions to these challenges in the country."

Referring to the unique projects currently being implemented in the Vice-Chancellor's Office of Research and Technology, he stated: "Creating a research strategy edge in the faculty members' portal and helping to solve problems of society and industry by using the expertise of faculty members is just one of the activities that have been carried out at the university in line with specialization and communication with society and industry." The president of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad considered it the university's duty to appreciate the elite and highly cited scientists and reminded that the university's board of directors is making every effort to provide the necessary research facilities.
