The Closing Ceremony of Summer School of Lebanese Persian Language Learners at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad

The closing ceremony of the Summer School for Lebanese Persian Learners of the International Center for Teaching Persian Language to non-Persian Speakers of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad was held on Sunday, July 21, 2019.


Dr. Mohammad Taghavi, head of the International Center for Teaching Persian Language to non-Persian Speakers of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, referred to the success of this three-week course. He identified the Persian culture's acquaintance as the secondary objectives of the course and expressed hope that this goal would be achieved.


Dr. Ehsan Ghabool, Head of International Academic Relations of the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, pointed out the learning Persian language as the main goal of this course. He thanked the Persian Language Learning Center and expressed hope that this learning would be a prelude for more knowledge gaining by the learners. 


Dr. Zeinab Moazenzadeh, The head of the Office for International Students at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, also thanked all his colleagues for the successful completion of this course. She expressed hope that students can achieve their high goals, and have been able to get acquainted with Ferdowsi University of Mashhad for further continuing their studies. Then she submitted a report on recreational and cultural activities of this period.


Dr. Ghulab al-Ali, Educational Manager of the schools of Al-Mahdi in Lebanon, thanked the organizers of the course. He considered the Persian language as a bridge between the two peoples of Iran and Lebanon and expressed hope that this course has been able to achieve its goals and students can upgrade their linguistic level.


The narrative of the story of the Shahnameh by Persian learners students was one of the programs of the ceremony. It is worth mentioning that during the ceremony, 10 high-ranking Persian learners students of this course were appreciated. Also, each of the instructors was awarded a memorial badge from the schools of Al-Mahdi in Lebanon.
