Cognitive Science Research Center
The Cognitive Science Research Center was established in 2011 at the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. The objectives of this research center include review, diagnosis and proper and timely treatment of neuropsychological problems.
Activities
- Responding to the needs of M.A. and Ph.D. students studying clinical psychology and cognitive science
- Covering the research needs of centers and offices in the Khorasan Razavi Province, such as the Department of Education, the State Welfare Organization, the Psychology and Counseling Organization, the Health and Treatment Center
- Conducting research on neurology and responding to the growing needs of families to promote children's learning and performance
- Serving the individuals’ demands of children with special needs
- Creating a suitable platform to facilitate the process of identifying psychological problems as well as benefiting from health care equipment
Research Projects
- Examining and comparison of the features of language of autistic children
- Investigation of the relationship between the function of the dominant brain quarter and learning styles of high faculty students
- Exploring the mediating role of mental health (based on sport activities and the quality of life) with the job performance of the employees of the Department of Water and Sanitation in Mashhad

- Neurofeedback Workshop held at the First Cognitive Science Conference, July 3-5, 2013
- TDCS Workshop (providing consultation for project implementation in cognitive neuroscience) held on March 5-6, 2014
