B.A. Program: Psychology is an academic and applied discipline involving the scientific study of mental processes and behavior. The main purpose of the B.A. Program in Psychology is to familiarize students with the theoretical and fundamental concepts along with the research methods of this vast domain The program offers 3 areas of specialization, i.e. Clinical Psychology, Exceptional Children's Psychology, and Public Psychology. A minimum of 135 semester hours of credit is required for the degree of B.A. in Psychology. M.A. Program in Clinical Psychology: At the M.A. level, Clinical Psychology is offered as an area of specialization by the Dept. of Psychology. Ph.D. Program: The Ph.D. program is intended for students who wish to take up academic posts at universities and hold positions at information science centers. A minimum of 36 hours of credit is required for this program.
