Office of Health and Welfare
The Office of Health and Welfare of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad was established in 2009 to promote students and staff welfare and ease of access to medical care. The center offers a range of services such as primary care, pharmacy, injections and dressings, dentistry, and control services. The Office of Health and Welfare of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad aims to provide appropriate solutions to increase the level of hygiene in public places, restaurants, dormitories, and buffet.
Responsibilities
- Checking up patients in FUM
- Approving sick leaves for staff and students
- Performing injections and dressings for all patients
- Conducting health monitoring projects for freshmen and staff
- Offering a full-range of dental services
- Monitoring the hygiene status of dormitories, stores, cafeterias, barber shops, pools, and bakery, etc.
- Improving staff and students’ knowledge of hygiene by preparing informative brochures and messages
- Sending emergency cases to well-equipped hospitals
Activities
Office of Health and Welfare of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad has two sections. The hygiene section deals with control, evaluation, and proposing suitable solutions to increase the level of hygiene in public places, restaurants, dormitories, and buffet. The care section which offers primary cure services, pharmacy, injections and dressings, and dentistry services.
