Physical Education Administration
Founded in 1978, the Administration of Physical Education in Ferdowsi University of Mashhad launched sport programs for all the members of the Ferdowsi community. This office provides programs in many sports fields inside and outside the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad to enhance students’ health and well-being, improve the quality of their occupational life, and develop their physical, emotional, mental, and social competence.
Major goals of the Administration of Physical Education
- Encouraging students and staff in sports to keep themselves healthy
- Offering extra-curricular activities for students on their leisure time
- Holding regular short-time and long-time training courses for staff, coaches, and experts to enhance both their experience and knowledge
- Making the required infrastructure for students’ sports in Ferdowsi University of Mashhad
- Communicating with other sports centers to improve the cultural status of sports and physical education
- Expanding students’ participation in national and international sport events
