B.A. Program The major purpose of the B.A. program in English Language and Literature is to develop 4 main skills, i.e. reading comprehension, speaking, writing, and listening. The program also familiarizes students with American and chiefly British literature. A minimum of 136 hours of credit is required for the degree of B.A. in English. M.A. Program The M.A. program is offered with a concentration in English Language Teaching. A minimum of 32 hours of credit is required for the M.A. degree.
