Persian Language and Literature is taught at both general and specialized levels in three academic programs (B.A., M.A., and Ph.D.) in Dr. Ali Shariati Faculty of Letters and Humanities at the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. Persian Language and Literature are taught in Iranian universities and institutes of higher education in order to familiarize students with various dimensions of Persian prose and poetry and enable graduates to take advantage of scientific, cultural and social capacities of this glorious human treasure. Training professionals for research and education in the extensive realm of Persian Language and Literature is among other objectives of this Department.  More
